We hope you’ll plan to join us for an exciting array of events to celebrate spring at Tregaron:
We’ll be searching along our paths and woodlands for thousands of candy-filled eggs at our 5th Annual Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, March 26 at 10am. The hunt will start by the Lily Pond near our entrance on Klingle Road NW, which is just east of the intersection with Woodley Road NW.
If you’re arriving by Metro, go to the Conservancy entrance at 3100 Macomb Street NW. Proceed up the path, turn left up the driveway until you see the main trail on the left. Follow the main trail through the woodlands, under the bridge, to the Lily Pond. It’s about a 10 minute walk from the Macomb entrance to the Lily Pond.
***RSVPs are appreciated but not required. To RSVP email info@tregaronconservancy.org and tell us the number of adults and kids attending. A separate area will be set up for kids under 5. Be sure to bring your own basket!
At 7:30pm on Tuesday, April 5,, Tregaron and the Cleveland Park Historical Society will co-host a talk by our preservation landscape architect Glenn Stach entitled “Preserving Cultural Landscapes – More than Eaves and Leaves.” Register at this link.
We’re thrilled to once again be hosting a Casey Trees Community Planting on Saturday, April 30.
