Tregaron Conservancy is going nationwide! The National Trust for Historic Preservation recently selected Tregaron as one of only a handful of sites in DC for a “Field Study” this year. The Field Study (a 3-hour workshop and tour) will be featured as part of the National Trust’s annual conference. A member of their staff recently toured Tregaron for a “dry run” of the Field Study, and as you can see, we enjoyed the visit!
We are excited about this opportunity to showcase the Conservancy to a nationwide group of historic preservation practitioners. The program will take place in early November and will be co-hosted by the Washington International School. Participants will hear our remarkable story, learn about our ongoing restoration efforts, and tour the historic woodlands and mansion.
