Tregaron Awarded Grant by ExtremeTerrain Supporting Trail Improvements

November 3, 2025

Thanks to a grant from ExtremeTerrain’s Clean Trail Grant Program, Tregaron Conservancy volunteers removed invasive ground cover and added new native plants along our trails this fall. The deeper roots of native plants help hold up the slopes and mitigate erosion of our trails.

“We’re so grateful to have ExtremeTerrain as a partner in protecting and maintaining the health and beauty of our landscape,” said Lynn Parseghian, the Conservancy’s Executive Director. “We truly appreciate their commitment to supporting the integrity of parklands and helping us (and many other parks) leave the trails people enjoy better than they find them.”
