Tregaron Unplugged: Free Outdoor Music Festival
October 17 @ 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Come enjoy our annual Tregaron Unplugged Concert this fall in partnership with Washington Performing Arts.
This vibrant outdoor concert series features exceptional performances set throughout the picturesque 13 acres of Tregaron. Music includes string quartets, vocalists, and unique ensembles performing diverse works from around the world.
Experience the newly commissioned soundwalk, “Shimmers in the Field,” by Chromic Duo, while walking Tregaron’s idyllic trails. Using GPS technology, a free mobile app locates listeners within the park and layers music and stories keyed to specific areas along the trails, fading each element in and out as the listener moves through the landscape.
This event is free of charge. Enter via Tregaron’s pedestrian gate in the 3000 block of Klingle Road NW. Street parking is available nearby. Small folding chairs and picnic blankets are permitted.
