“Tuesday Talk”: Tregaron: Stewarding a Historic Landscape for the Future

April 22 @ 7:00 pm – 8:00 pm

As part of the Cleveland Park Library’s “Tuesday Talk” series, on Earth Day, April 22, Executive Director Lynn Parseghian and Landscape Chair Tamara Belt will speak about the Tregaron Estate’s storied history, as well as the Conservancy’s 19+ years of work to rehabilitate the landscape and steward it into the future. Space is limited; reserve your spot by registering via the link below.

Lynn Parseghian has served as Executive Director of Tregaron Conservancy since 2015. Previously, she practiced law in Washington in areas ranging from antitrust to the environment. Lynn served as outside counsel to the Corcoran Gallery of Art and has held several leadership roles in DC’s nonprofit and philanthropic communities. She currently serves on the Board of Washington Performing Arts. She holds a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and a J.D. from the University of Chicago.

Tamara Belt is an award-winning landscape designer and owner of Hawthorne Garden Design. She is chair of the Conservancy’s Landscape Committee and for almost 20 years has helped rehabilitate the Conservancy landscape based on careful study of its historic plans and ecology. Previously she worked on biodiversity conservation and forestry projects at the World Bank.  She holds a PhD from the London School of Economics.
